ANCIENT GOD/GODDESS

Ancient gods and goddesses are members of the order of Immortals that once ruled the world. Their recent loss of favor led to the empowering of the Chosen Ones.

CHOSEN ONE

This term refers to the highest Immortal in a Religion; these Immortals were "chosen" by the ancient gods to represent them in the new world order. If no Immortal is currently chosen, a Hierarch will grant membership to any player worthy of role-playing that religion. When that player becomes an Immortal, he/she will then be named the chosen one of that religion.

HIERARCHY

Each religion is structured into one Chosen One, up to two Magistrates, four High Priests(esses), six Priests(esses), and eight Assistant Priests(esses). These religion leaders must all be played by different players and are responsible for leading the religion by role-playing example, as well as making decisions for the religion and its future. Each religion determines the requirements and duties for their officers.

RELIGION SPELLS

Most religions have the added benefit of offering additional spells for their members only.

CONVERT, CONVERSION

The ability and command to grant membership in the religion to a non-aligned character. Usually given only to the Chosen One and others at his or her discretion.
